The Lex™ patented EverGrip® overmold process provides superior safety and durability, critical elements considering the types of motor and hoist stresses found within entertainment scenery and rigging applications. The two-step molding process that binds the wiring device and cable together creates superior strain relief and secure terminations.
The thermoplastic resin injected in the pre-mold step creates a bond between powerCON cable, pins and sockets that eliminates broken conductors, loose ground rings and ‘push back’. The over mold step adds a thermoplastic elastomer gripping surface that is durable, insulated, absorbs impact and is safe to handle.
The EverGrip® procedure creates a bond that prevents internal damage while offering exceptional cable strain relief designed to transfer pressure away from the connectors. You can get the EverGrip® molded motor control cable extensions in 7 and 14 pin quarter-turn configurations, as well as a 7 pin Socapex® compatible configuration.
